What I did
Over my tenure, I designed an average of 80 pages per issue (26 issues total), commissioned 25+ illustrations and photo shoots for features, and managed design elements and page templates.
Voyeur was published by Pacific+, an arm of Pacific Magazines that specialised in branded content and custom publishing. Before it was closed, Pacific+ created high-quality, editorial-driven magazines for major clients, including Virgin Australia, Toyota, Costco, and The Iconic.
I was a designer on Voyeur for two years, during which time I collaborated with editors, photographers, illustrators, and art directors to produce a polished and visually engaging publication. With its bold typography, immersive photography, and elegant layouts, Voyeur transformed the in-flight reading experience, reinforcing Virgin Australia’s premium positioning.
The magazine was also a prime platform for advertisers in luxury travel, hospitality, and fashion, reaching a captive audience of domestic and international travellers. With Virgin Australia’s strong presence in both corporate and leisure markets, Voyeur offered brands including Samsonite, Tudor, and Sony prolonged exposure to engaged readers seeking premium experiences, making it a highly desirable advertising space.
