About
I’ve spent the past decade designing across editorial, branding, corporate, marketing, and product—refining ideas, shaping visuals, and building experiences to make them clearer, stronger, and more effective.
The lowdown
I started out in editorial design, crafting covers and layouts for travel and food magazines like Virgin Australia's Voyeur, GoPlaces With Toyota, Jetstar Magazine, and New Idea Food. Working in fast-paced publishing environments sharpened my eye for detail, my ability to collaborate across teams, and my skill in balancing creativity with clarity.
More recently, I worked in product design, where I played a key role in developing a multi-brand design system for a network of gaming and entertainment publications. This included building a component library and implementing design tokens to ensure consistency across 17 sites.
Throughout my career, I’ve also worked on branding, marketing, and corporate projects, giving me a well-rounded perspective on design. No matter the medium, I’m drawn to the process of shaping and refining ideas—taking something and making it clearer, more cohesive, and more impactful.
I’m also big on learning and efficiency, always looking for better ways to work, new tools to explore, and smarter ways to approach design challenges.
Behind the scenes
In true introvert style, when I’m not working, you’ll probably find me at home, completely absorbed in a book or catching up on the latest movie or TV releases.
I also have a bit of a puzzle obsession. I start my mornings with The New York Times' Wordle, Strands, and Connections games, and I love sudoku, jigsaw puzzles, and card games like Canasta and Phase 10. If there’s a logic or strategy element involved, I’m in.
And then there’s McGee—my two-year-old Border Collie and certified velcro dog. He’s the most affectionate pup I’ve ever had and is convinced that cuddling him should be my full-time job. But if he’s not curled up on top of me (I'm his personal couch), he’s probably waiting for me to throw his ball. Because ball is life.
Fun fact: I was a contestant on Mastermind Australia.
