Brand concept development for an architecture studio

I developed a bold brand concept for BD Architecture + Interiors to reflect their playful yet professional approach to design. The visual identity embraced colour, shape, and personality, capturing their unique philosophy of Design to Delight. While the concept wasn’t ultimately chosen, it provided a fresh and engaging direction for the brand.

What I did

I developed a concept for the visual identity and applied it across a range of materials, including posters, stationery, and social media templates, to demonstrate how it could translate into practical applications.

BD Architecture + Interiors isn’t your average architectural practice. With a focus on home and hospitality, their spaces are designed to delight the senses as much as they serve their purpose—elevating the everyday through warmth, creativity, and connection. The brief called for a visual identity that captured this unique perspective: architecture as an experience, not just a structure.

I centred the identity around the idea of everyday wonders, using an approachable visual language, vibrant yet grounded colours, and expressive typography to disrupt the often-muted world of architectural branding. Geometric shapes—drawn from architectural principles—formed the basis of the logo and visual system, while playful patterns introduced rhythm and texture, echoing the structure and joy found in BD’s work.

The result was a concept that balanced professionalism with personality, giving BD a distinct voice in the market: one that champions warmth, creativity, and the belief that great design should invite, inspire, and never exclude.
